Tiny Jam
Terms of Use
Last updated 30 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Tiny Jam app ("the App"), provided by Seneca Labs. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Seneca Labs is the trading name of SenecaLabs For Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design, a sole establishment registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Licence No. 1637377) ("Seneca Labs", "we", "us").
If you got the App from the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the EULA) also applies to you. These Terms add to it; if the two disagree, the EULA wins. If you got the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service cover your purchase, and these Terms cover the App.
1. Who can use the App
The App is made for parents and other grown-ups to use with children. You must be an adult (the age of majority where you live) to accept these Terms and to buy Tiny Jam Premium. Children may use the App with a grown-up, who stays responsible for that use. The App has no accounts and no sign-in.
2. Description of the App
Tiny Jam is a family jam and sing-along app. A grown-up plays guitar, ukulele or piano with the chords scrolling in time with the song, or sings along with the band, while children sing, dance and tap along. It also has a tuner, a metronome, a chord library and other tools for playing music at home.
3. Intellectual property
Every song in Tiny Jam is either in the public domain or written by us. The arrangements, recordings, illustrations, text and software are original, made for Tiny Jam, and belong to Seneca Labs or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own family's music at home. The App includes open-source software under its own licences, listed in Me → Licences.
4. Tiny Jam Premium: subscriptions and payments
- The App is free to download, and five songs are free forever.
- Tiny Jam Premium is a subscription, monthly or yearly, that unlocks every song and Find my key, plus new songs as they're added.
- The yearly plan can start with a free trial, if your store account hasn't had one before. The paywall says so before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your store account: on an iPhone or iPad in Settings, on Android in Google Play (Me → More settings → Manage subscription takes you there). Deleting the App doesn't cancel it.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged. If you cancel later, you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules; we don't process refunds directly.
- If a price changes, your store tells you first, and you can cancel before it applies.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- copy, resell, rent, lend or share the App or its content, or use it for commercial purposes;
- take the App apart, reverse engineer it or try to get its source code, except where the law allows it;
- copy the songs, recordings or illustrations into other apps or products, or scrape the App's content;
- get around the subscription, the grown-ups-only check or any other protection in the App.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENECA LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to keep it working well, but we don't promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes. Tiny Jam is played with young children: a grown-up should stay with them, and keep the volume comfortable for little ears.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it (cancel any subscription separately, see section 4). We may end your licence to use the App if you break these Terms. We may change or stop offering the App or parts of it; if we stop offering Premium while you have a subscription, it won't renew.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the App changes. We'll post the new version at this address and change the "Last updated" date, and for an important change we'll tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, the new Terms apply.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates. This doesn't take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
11. Apple-specific terms
If you got the App from the App Store:
- These Terms are between you and Seneca Labs, not Apple. Seneca Labs, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
- Apple is not responsible for any claims about the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App doesn't meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar laws.
- If someone claims that the App or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, Seneca Labs, not Apple, is responsible for dealing with that claim.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo, or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple may enforce them against you.
12. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed as little as necessary, and the rest of these Terms will stay in effect.
